CARBOHYDRATE ADDICTS DIET - What do you think?

Question:
bought a copy of "THE CARBOHYDRATE ADDICT'S DIET" today and was leafing through it. I think I like Atkins better. He seems to be more clinical and has more of a DOCTOR feel to him. (Although I have never actually felt a doctor, I was once in a...nevermind. Too tacky. I digress.) I kind of got the impression that these people just jumped onto the bandwagon to make a quick buck. They don't mention ketones or ketosis, which (to me, at any rate) is a VERY important factor in low-carb weight loss. I also looked at "THE CARBOHYDRATE ADDICT'S DIET COOKBOOK" and, while the recipes certainly looked tasty, I was taken by the fact that they don't list the carbohydrate count per serving. Hmmm.....wonder why that is. Of course, I didn't read the whole thing (just leafed through it standing in Wally-World).

What does anyone else think about THE CARBOHYDRATE ADDICT'S DIET?

Answer:
they don't list carbs, because we are not counting them. We have some things similiar, but not all. I do like that we get to eat from all the food groups,in moderation at thr reward meal.I don't think I could completly stay away from bread, etc for ever.thats MO only. The weight loss is a little slower, but I didn't get fat overnight. I am glad you found something that works for you,but don't knock others WOL. Few Atkins had said that after they lose the weight they might try the reward meal once in a while. There are no counting, measuring, running to the book to see if falls into the carb count.

What I don't like: their web support (cannot get on) the books cost $22.99 can the book could use a rewrite ( hard to follow)
