Question:
I'm looking for LEGIT cocaine death statistics. By this, I mean, the
current information on coke deaths includes deaths that included coke in
combination w/ another drug and deaths that weren't caused by the drug
itself, but accidents, intentional OD, etc... The info also doesn't
include what method of administration for the coke they used. All this
info is so biased and it makes things rather confusing. I mean, assuming a
person does not mix coke w/ any other drugs, doesn't have a heart
condition, and only uses small ammounts of coke intranasally, and doesn't
go on binges, wouldn't it be safe to say that coke (and even meth for that
matter) use is a rather safe thing (under these circumstances)? And anyone
got any URLs for more thorough coke death statistics? Some people think
I'm making coke seem much less dangerous than it actually is, but I think a
lot of people have been taught to be afraid of coke since they were kids
and have become too closed-minded to see it's not as dangerous as they may
think and have been forcefully taught to think this way by our government.
Answer:
It is a tough stat to find because they generally group the stat in
combination wiht other unrlated deaths where a toxicaology screen was
performed.. I guess the stat you are looking for is the incidensce of
cocaine overdose related deaths??
I contacted the Addiction Research Foundation In Toronto for accurated
statistics but i have not had a reply will post the stats when I get
them..
