Question:
I'm thinking about entering an inpatient rehabilitation center to try and
rid myself of a cocaine addiction which has gone on for way too long. I'm
sick and tired, and all I experience from use is the bad side effects, no
euphoria, but unfortunately even though there is no benefit from using
anymore, I can't stop. For this reason, and the fact that my nose is
becoming FUBAR, I recently tried smoking it and it gave me a lot more than
snorting, but the side effects of paranoia, the withdrawal, and the
cravings, were much worse. Anyway, I'm asking for any advice or personal
experiences which might help me make a decision. My biggest concern is that
I have bills, an apartment, and a leased car, and I wonder how my financial
obligations will be handled, since I am absolutely broke and wont be
working. I'd also like to know what to expect concerning what my day would
be like. Any help would be appreciated
Answer:
The place I went to for Oxycontin detox was limited to three days by
my insurance company... they also limited cocaine stays to three days
because (according to PHS) "there is no physical detox from cocaine".
