I kind of wonder about this, because I was under the impression that crack
cannot be
ingested without either a certain amount of equipment or a certain amount of
telltale
smoke. If she had been caught with a vial of cocaine powder, or some other
drug that could
be snorted or swallowed, I would find it much easier to believe. But a rock
of crack? How
the hell would somebody smoke a rock of crack in rehab without getting
caught?
I'm not defending her, just pointing out that there is something wierd going
on here.
Answer:
Remove some of the tobacco from a cigarette, insert rock, then pack the tobacco
back tightly around it. When you light the end of the cigarette, the rock
vaporizes and the cocaine can then be inhaled.
Or, place the rock on a small piece of aluminum foil (such as a candy wrapper).
Hold a match or lighter under the foil until the rock vaporizes; inhale the
vapor through a drinking straw or rolled-up sheet of paper.
Both these methods are inefficient compared to using a freebase pipe, but they
do work for crack cocaine -- also for heroin or crystal meth, for that matter.
