I am just curious if anyone knows what early intervention services or any
other services for children with autism are available in Los Angeles. Is
there any waiting list?
Answer:
don't know about waiting lists, but to find out about early intervention
services in Los Angeles, there are a couple of ways to go:
a) Do a search through a search engine. Type in Early Intervention Services
and Los Angeles. It should give you some ideas.
b) Call the local Health Dept. and the local school district and ask them.
They *better* be able to tell you, since they would have to deal with them.
They (especially the school district) should also be able to give you the
means to contact an EI service coordinator.
