Question:
Is there anyone in the group who has had a knee replacement or has
reliable information about other golfers who have had one?
If so, I'm curious about the diagnosis, what brought the problem on if
it's known, the surgical experience, and whether there was golf in the
patient's life after rehabilitation.

Thanks for the quick returns - within the last month I've had my first
taste of knee problems after 25 years of running and hundreds of rounds
of walking golf courses. I've seen an osteo surgeon and will go back in
a couple of weeks for X-rays which I stupidly passed on at the last
visit. I'm hopeful I'm not going to be a surgery candidate very soon,
but I know from my wife's experience (shoulder) that a time comes when
surgery is the better option and I want to work with any surgeon that
cuts on me rather than letting him make all the decisions. I'm locking
this thread and all replies so I can keep reviewing them.
